2 ply, mule-spun yarn. This is a light to medium weight yarn, spun woolen style. It is therefore a little coarser than the 3ply worsted spun off white, BUT, it is Shetland wool, and not only that but the Mill kindly added a little Merino from their own supplies, making this lovely, white yarn so pretty, softer, and… well… puffy!

This yarn was processed for me right from raw fleece by Custom Woolen Mill in Alberta.
